On Location expands global presence with new office in Milan

On Location, an international sports hospitality provider and the official exclusive hospitality provider of the Olympic Games for its upcoming three showpiece events, has revealed its newest office in Italy.

Situated in the heart of Milan, this move is geared towards enhancing support for the company’s operations, particularly in light of its role as the official exclusive hospitality provider of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, set to be jointly hosted in Italy by Milan and the picturesque town of Cortina d’Ampezzo.

The establishment of this office marks a significant expansion of On Location’s global footprint, empowering the company to intensify its focus on the forthcoming Winter Olympics while ensuring closer oversight of its diverse range of hospitality packages leading up to the event.

“With two years to go until Milano Cortina ‘26, we are excited to be expanding our global footprint and team into Italy as we prepare to deliver the largest hospitality program in Winter Games history,” said Scott Jernigan, On Location’s Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President.

“As the Official Hospitality Partner, On Location takes care of everything, from the moment a guest decides to purchase their ticket-inclusive hospitality packages, to the once-in-a-lifetime hospitality experiences they’ll enjoy there, providing a seamless, centralised hospitality experience for fans and stakeholders.”

In addition to its expansion in Italy, On Location has forged a partnership with travel platform Fliggy to launch an e-commerce store in China. Fliggy, a subsidiary of the renowned Chinese commercial conglomerate Alibaba, has already launched On Location’s online store on its digital platform ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, for which On Location is also providing hospitality.

Zhuang Zhuoran, CEO of Fliggy, hinted at the potential for further collaborations between the two entities, stating, “The demand for personalised travel and hospitality experiences has become a prevailing trend in China’s consumer market. Using Paris 2024 as a starting point, we at Fliggy look forward to collaborating closely with On Location to integrate unique, ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ moments with the scenery, culture, and authentic way of life in each destination.”

On Location’s hospitality packages for the 2024 games are already available for purchase through the marketplace.
