How the Uber-AEG Partnership is Redefining Sports Entertainment in Germany

image

AEG Global Partnerships has announced a significant naming rights deal with Uber in Germany.

This partnership aims to boost Uber’s brand visibility by associating it with two major venues attracting 1.5 million visitors annually.

Formerly known as Mercedes-Benz Arena and Verti Music Hall, these venues have been renamed Uber Arena and Uber Eats Music Hall. The surrounding entertainment district, including theaters, a cinema, a bowling alley, and restaurants, is now known as Uber Platz.

The agreement allows Uber to gain exposure at events held in these venues and to introduce its services within them, while AEG’s Global Partnerships division, who facilitated this deal, aim to enhance the overall fan experience by integrating various amenities around the venues.

The collaboration also represents a forward-thinking approach to venue management, with the focus not only on improving the fan experience, but also promoting safe transportation options to and from the venue.
