The National Basketball Association has selected Phoenix, Arizona, as the host city for the 2027 NBA All-Star Game.
The 76th edition of the annual event will take place on February 21, 2027, at the Footprint Centre, home of the Phoenix Suns.
This marks the fourth time that Phoenix will host the NBA All-Star Game, having previously staged it in 1975, 1995 and 2009. The announcement comes following recent news that the 2026 edition will be held in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, the new arena of the Los Angeles Clippers, marking the 75th NBA All-Star Game and the record seventh hosted in LA.
The upcoming All-Star festivities in Phoenix are scheduled to take place from February 19 to 21. The action-packed weekend will commence with the NBA Rising Stars event, showcasing the top rookies and second-year NBA players. This will be followed by the highly anticipated All-Star Saturday Night event, featuring the Skills Challenge, the Three-Point Challenge, and the Slam Dunk contest. The weekend will culminate with the NBA All-Star Game itself on Sunday night.
The NBA has planned a series of festivities around Phoenix to enhance the All-Star experience – including the NBA All-Star practice, the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and an NBA All-Star fan fest, offering basketball programming, entertainment and unique access to NBA players, legends and celebrities.
The NBA will also continue its tradition of community engagement through NBA Cares events held throughout the weekend in partnership with local schools and non-profit organisations. These events aim to provide valuable resources and support to programs benefiting the Phoenix community.
Phoenix will also host the WNBA All-Star festivities later this year.
