F1 Academy, the all-female development platform for emerging talent in motor racing, has announced iconic American fashion label Tommy Hilfiger as its latest official partner.

Tommy Hilfiger will craft one of the five designated partner liveries for the upcoming 2024 season. Spanish driver Nerea Martí, competing in her second season with Campos Racing in F1 Academy, will proudly represent the Tommy Hilfiger brand.

Martí’s racing attire and car will showcase the brand’s iconic red, white and blue colour scheme, epitomising a fusion of style and speed on the track.

Additionally, Tommy Hilfiger will extend its design expertise to outfitting all F1 Academy staff with bespoke uniforms.

“Tommy Hilfiger is one of the most recognised global lifestyle brands, so it is a great honour to welcome them to F1 Academy as an official partner,” said Susie Wolff, the Managing Director of F1 Academy.

“Tommy Hilfiger is fully invested in our mission to improve female representation in motorsport, and their global brand platform will appeal to those outside of the motorsport world and help us to reach new audiences.”

Twenty-two-year-old Martí’s stellar rookie-season performances in 2023, where she secured fourth place in the drivers’ standings and clinched a maiden victory at Le Castellet, highlights her prowess on the circuit. Throughout the inaugural F1 Academy season, Martí achieved five podium finishes and claimed one pole position.

F1 Academy also recently announced a partnership with global sportswear giant Puma. This collaboration sees Puma join as an official partner of F1 Academy, coinciding with the commencement of the series’ second season on March 7 in Saudi Arabia.

F1 Academy’s 2024 calendar aligns with the main F1 schedule, further integrating the developmental platform into the broader motorsport landscape. Each F1 team will nominate one driver and design the livery for one car competing in the series, enhancing the synergy between F1 Academy and the premier racing series.

The eagerly anticipated 2024 F1 campaign kicks off on March 2 in Bahrain.
