Top Super Netball Partnerships: Swifts, Vixens, More

Ahead of the launch of the 2022 Suncorp Super Netball season on Saturday, here are all the latest commercial partnerships from around the league.

Melbourne Vixens

The Melbourne Vixens and Netball Victoria have announced they have extended their partnership with McCafé, with the McDonald’s brand to remain the club’s official coffee partner.

Within the partnership, McCafé will support Victorian netball from grassroots to the elite level, with the brand’s logo to take place on the athlete’s dresses and bibs, while remaining a presenting partner of the Melbourne Vixens Association and League Membership.

Through the initiative, Netball Victoria-affiliated associations and leagues can sign up for free to receive benefits including access to free and discounted seating at Vixens home games, co-branded signage and marketing collateral for use in grassroots competitions, and equipment.

Netball Victoria CEO, Rosie King, said: “This ongoing partnership with McCafé has already enabled us to deliver more outcomes for the Victorian netball community, from the grassroots level up to the elite.”

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership as we work together to support the growth of netball across the state.

“McCafé is helping us to provide opportunities where they’re needed most,” King said.

West Coast Fever

Netball Western Australia (WA) and the West Coast Fever have announced a new partnership with Mazda, covering all tiers of netball in the state over the next two years.

The partnership will see Mazda receive branding, signage and activation opportunities at Super Netball games, community netball competitions, and state-level events.

Netball WA and West Coast Fever CEO, Simone Hansen, said the partnership provided a major boost to the sport in WA.

“This support from Mazda significantly contributes to the success and sustainability of netball in Western Australia and helps our sport continue connecting the community,” Hansen said.

“At a time when COVID-19 is having a major impact on the sustainability of so many businesses, we greatly appreciate how important this partnership is and what a great reflection it is on Mazda’s commitment to the community,” she said.

NSW Swifts

Lastly, the NSW Swifts have announced Tyrepower as the club’s major partner and official coaches partner for 2022, after the brand first partnered with the club last year.

Tyrepower general manager, Henk van Diggele, said: “What impressed us most in 2021 was the passion, tenacity and support for not just the Swifts, but the whole netball experience.”

“It was a new venture for us at the time and we really loved it.

“There are many shared values between us as a company and what the Swifts stand for and we are delighted upping our support in 2022,” van Diggele said.
