Playa Power Introduces Athlete Workshops In 2020

In January 2020, Ministry of Sport will be partnering with Playa Power to deliver one-day workshops for professional athletes to help develop their personal brand and teach them how to monetise their off-field presence.

The workshop is designed to be advantageous for both the athlete, brands and club partnerships alike – with a strong focus on athletes gaining knowledge on personal branding and engagement, to ensure they become outstanding club ambassadors and understand how to help clubs partners and external brands.

The day is designed for athletes to take away tangible results by creating a road map to grow their social audience and to work with brands and club partners.

Some of the confirmed speakers presenting for Playa Power include;

Scott Dinsdale – will open the workshop and give the athletes the ‘aha’ on why this is important.

Jasmine Beech – will present what the macro research is saying around athletes in Australian sport and provide details on how athletes can access research on themselves.

Stuart Leo – will present on why creating a brand is essential and then provide a workbook which Stu will use with the athletes to develop the athletes individual brand.

David Smith – will provide creative ideas and workshop with the athletes on how to amplify their brand.

The worlds biggest social media company – will conclude the day on how the athlete takes ‘their brand’ and amplifies it by covering the world’s best practices, how they should engage their audience, how to maximise their profiles.

Thanks to St. George Bank, the first 50 athletes will be free.

If you would like to register an athlete head to the Playa Power website.
