LaLiga Announces New Content Partnership To Engage Young Fans

LaLiga has announced a partnership with OneFootball, making them the first league to post official content on the platform that will have the ability to reach millions of young, engaged and mobile-first fans.

The main focus of the deal is LaLiga’s official account on the platform, where the organisation will publish different forms of content including all club news, interviews, match reports and videos, as well as match day highlight footage in English and Spanish.

LaLiga news and updates will also be available everyday of the year and will be accessible via the OneFootball mobile app and website, with additional content being posted to the OneFootball Player, which is distributed to 250 publishers and media outlets worldwide.

Commenting on the partnership, LaLiga director of digital strategy, Alfredo Bermejo, said: “Being on key platforms like OneFootball is essential for LaLiga, to reach millions of fans and new users that can enjoy the most of the best league in the world.”

“The agreement with OneFootball allows us to position ourselves at the forefront of the entertainment industry,” he said.

OneFootball founder and CEO, Lucas Von Cranach, added: “LaLiga is one of the biggest and most exciting football leagues in the world, and is consistently among the most-followed competitions on OneFootball.”

The announcement comes after LaLiga partnered with Dapper Labs to create a digital collectible platform.
