Top A-League Commercial Partnership: Melbourne Victory, Sydney FC, More

With the 2021/22 A-Leagues season continue despite ongoing challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, here are all the latest commercial partnerships from around the league.

Sydney FC

Sydney FC has named Casio Edifice as the club’s official timepiece partner for the A-League Men’s side for the 2021/22 season, with athletes to wear Casio Edifice watches on match days on arrival.

Sydney FC CEO, Danny Townsend, said: “We are delighted to be entering into a partnership with Casio Edifice and they will become a valuable addition to our ever-growing corporate partners.”

“It’s going to be a massive year for Sydney FC and everyone connected with our club, so we are looking forward to Casio Edifice joining us on that journey and hopefully beyond,” Townsend said.

The deal will see Casio Edifice featured in Sydney FC match day social media content, as well as in marketing and communication streams.

Macarthur FC

Elsewhere in the A-League, Macarthur FC have announced a new partnership with leading Japanese cryptocurrency exchange, JPEX, who will become a category partner for the 2021/22 season.

JPEX marketing manager, Oscar Radley, said the partnership aligns the two organisation who have had a similar trajectory since they both launched in 2020.

“We are nearly the same, such achievements we both made are a testament to the growing maturity and stability of our own institution,” Radley said.

“Together, we will usher in even brighter prospects for our future partnership and contribute even more development, opportunity, and prosperity in the coming decade.

“We will, and we must do this with them,” he said.

Melbourne Victory

Melbourne Victory has announced a pair of partnerships, with the club bringing in Marnong Estate as a premier partner and extending its partnership with Systima.

The new partnership with Marnong Estate will see the brand become the official naming rights partner of the A-Lounge, providing its wines in all Melbourne Victory corporate suite drinks packages.

Meanwhile, the extension with Systima will see the company remain the club’s strategic technology partner, providing IT and technology services to the club for the past six years.

Western Sydney Wanderers FC

Lastly, the Western Sydney Wanderers FC has partnership with Reliant Healthcare to launch a new inclusive football program, delivering free 10-week programs beginning with Open Gala Day’s to find participants aligned with local school terms.

Western Sydney Wanderers CEO, John Tsatsimas, said: “The Wanderers pride themselves on being an inclusive and open club, and we are honoured to be working with Reliant Healthcare in establishing the Football Inclusive Program that will be hosted at Wanderers Football Park.”

“We hope that this is the start of many more inclusive programs at the club that make a difference to the Western Sydney community,” Tsatsimas said.
