Bunnings Bounces Back With Multi-Year NBL Partnership

Australia’s largest retailer of home improvement and outdoor living products, Bunnings, has signed a two-year deal with the NBL.

Bunnings had a short stint with the league during the 2019 NBL finals and will return for the next two season.

The popular ‘NBL Bunnings Bounce’ competition will be back in action, whith one lucky winner and nine of their friends winning an exclusive training session with an NBL coach in their home state.

Bunnings has also signed on as a founding partner of NBL1, Australia’s premier winter league which aims to strengthen the pathway for Australia’s best basketball talent and enjoyed its successful inaugural season in 2019.

NBL Chief Commercial Officer, Brad Joyner, said: “We are delighted Bunnings has re-signed with the Hungry Jack’s NBL after a successful partnership during the 2019 NBL Finals.

“Bunnings is one of Australia and New Zealand’s most popular brands.

“This is an exciting time for basketball in Australia and New Zealand and the 2019-20 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season promises to be our biggest and best ever.

“We are also thrilled that it will also become the founding partner of NBL1 which enjoyed a highly successful inaugural season and has strengthened the connection with grassroots basketball and will return in April 2020.”

The Hungry Jack’s NBL Season will tip-off on October 3 when Melbourne United plays new crosstown rival South East Melbourne Phoenix in the first-ever ‘Throwdown’ at Melbourne Arena.
