With just 31 days until Perth’s Optus Stadium hosts two of Italy’s most historic football teams – AS Roma and AC Milan, Ticketmaster and Optus Stadium have combined high-profile celebrities and the excitement of the upcoming event in a new promotional video.
The video, starring Italian comedy trio Sooshi Mango and former Australian footballer Zeljko Kalac has been shared across Ticketmaster and Optus Stadium’s channels to promote the event in a light-hearted and jovial way.
Scheduled for May 31st, the match marks the first time the two teams have ever played each other in Australia, and forms part of Perth’s Little Italy Festival that weekend, with a series of cultural activities and events also scheduled to promote Italian football in Australia.
The clubs will also host two opening training sessions at HBF Park on Thursday May 30, with AC Milan scheduled at 4:30pm and AC Roma at 6:30pm. The match is expected to draw thousands of soccer fans from Western Australian and interstate, solidifying Perth’s growing reputation as a premier host city for major sporting events.
The ad works to combine the high-profile celebrities with the upcoming match as a mechanism for building the event’s profile beyond Western Australia
Tickets are now sale via Ticketmaster.
