David Reynolds Supercar Helmet to be Auctioned for Breast Cancer Research

Custom-designed race helmet worn by Supercars driver, David Reynolds, at the 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 will be auctioned on Monday, October 27, with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

Now in its third year, the collaboration between Lloyds Auctions, JAX Tyres & Auto, and David Reynolds continues to raise vital funds for breast cancer research, offering motorsport fans a rare opportunity to own a meaningful piece of racing history.

Commenting on the auction, Reynolds, said: “Breast cancer touches so many families, and if this helmet can help raise funds to fight it, then I’m proud to do my part.”

“A huge thank you to JAX Tyres & Auto and Lloyds Auctions for making this possible,” Reynolds said.

Sharing how the initiative has already started attracted strong attention from motorsport fans nationwide, CEO at Lloyds Auctions, Lee Hames, said: “These helmets are rare pieces of motorsport history and already generating buzz among Supercars enthusiasts across the country.”

“It’s not often you get to own something this unique while supporting such an important cause,” Hames added.

Chief franchising operations officer at JAX Tyres & Auto, April Harwood, noted: “We’re incredibly proud to reveal this year’s pink helmet as part of our ongoing partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation.”

Designed and hand-painted by Trent Rogers of 6Star Custom Paint, the helmet features a bold pink livery for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, blending striking Gold Coast-inspired artistry with race-ready functionality.

Equipped with a D2N Radio Kit and cooling fan system, it represents both high performance and heartfelt purpose a true collector’s item for fans and memorabilia enthusiasts.

The online auction is live now at LloydsAuctions.com.au, closing Monday, October 27 at 10 a.m. AEST, with 100% of proceeds directly funding the NBCF’s mission to achieve zero deaths from breast cancer.
