Allianz Launches Football Fan Hub

Allianz Australia, the designated Insurance Partner of Football Australia, has unveiled an innovative digital platform aimed at Australian football enthusiasts, known as the Fan Hub (fanhub.allianz.com.au).

This initiative aligns with Allianz’s ongoing commitment to fostering strong connections within communities and the realm of sport.

Football fans are encouraged to regularly explore the Allianz Fan Hub, which is designed to be a comprehensive resource for a myriad of football-related content.

Commenting on the platform, chief general manager, consumer at Allianz Australia, Shez Ford, said: “Not only will Australians have the opportunity to watch what I’m sure is going to be a nail-biting match between Australia and the Republic of Korea, but we will also see two of our major partnerships, Allianz Stadium and Football Australia, come together.

“The creation of the Allianz Fan Hub and the Pre-Match Warm Up Top is a natural extension of these partnerships, creating a unique opportunity for Allianz to continue authentically engaging with the football community,” Ford said.

Football Australia CEO, James Johnson, added: “It has been a massive team effort to bring Allianz Fan Hub, and the Pre-Match Warm Up Tops to life with Allianz.”

“These new offerings further cement their commitment to inclusivity, community, and unity in football, which are key values for Football Australia.

“We are looking forward to continuing to work closely and collaboratively with Allianz by providing unique and exclusive experiences for all football fans,” he said.

Users can stay informed about new and exclusive promotions, competitions, and perks available throughout the football season.

The launch of the Allianz Fan Hub is marked by an enticing giveaway:

  • A Category A Double Pass to a CommBank Matildas’ home game this year, accompanied by a $1,000 travel voucher and a signed CommBank Matildas’ jersey.
  • A Category A Double Pass to a Subway Socceroos’ home game this year, inclusive of a $1,000 travel voucher and a signed Subway Socceroos’ jersey.

In conjunction with the Fan Hub, Allianz and Football Australia have introduced a new branded Pre-Match Warm Up Top.

This merchandise, available for purchase on shop.footballaustralia.com.au and through select retail partners, features a unique Allianz logo on the back, integrating a scannable QR code of the iconic Allianz Eagle for direct access to the Fan Hub.

The launch coincides with the CommBank Matildas’ match against Korea Republic on Friday, 4 April at Allianz Stadium in Sydney, as the team gears up for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™.

This event marks a significant moment where Allianz’s prominent sponsorships—Allianz Stadium and Football Australia—will align, placing fans at the centre of their initiatives leading up to the match.

Matchday will offer fans at Allianz Stadium the opportunity to engage with the Fan Hub’s major prize and show their support by cheering “Go Australiaahhh,” with those who can cheer above 125 decibels receiving an instant reward.

Additionally, the Allianz social team will surprise three fortunate fans and their companions with upgraded tickets to a corporate box to enhance their matchday experience, supplemented by the presence of 750 Allianz customers in attendance.
