Resort, entertainment and media company, Hall of Fame Resort and Entertainment Company (HOFV), has launched two additional NFT collections, featuring National Football League (NFL) running backs Shane Vereen and Justin Forsett.

The announcement expands HOFV’s NFT range, who partnered with the Pro Football Hall of Fame and I Got It, to create the ‘Legends Playbooks’ collection, which celebrates the most iconic moments and coveted memorabilia in NFL history.

Commenting on the collection, HOFV president and CEO, Michael Crawford, said: “As a company focused on creating one-of-a-kind experiences and environments for our guests to enjoy across our three business verticals, we are pleased to continue to expand upon our NFT portfolio by announcing both Shane and Justin.”

“The launch of our new NFTs offers fans unique commemorations of the players’ careers while solidifying our commitment to being on the cutting edge of the digital media space.

“We look forward to announcing more exciting NFT options that celebrate the careers of high-profile professional athletes for our customers and guests in the near future,” he said.

Vereen was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 2011 NFL Draft, and also played for the New York Giants and New Orleans.

He scored eight rushing touchdowns and 11 receiving touchdowns, 1500 rushing yards and 1900 receiving yards over the course of his professional career.

Forsett played for several teams during his career, including the Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens.

During his career he scored 20 total touchdowns, with nearly 4000 rushing yards and 1400 receiving yards.

Additionally, the latest prices of the NFTs range from 0.073 Ethereum (AU$209) to 0.037 Ethereum (AU$106).

The announcement comes after 888sport, a multinational online sports gambling company, continued as the official sports betting partner of the NFL in the UK and Ireland until 2025.
