Australian Mortgage broker, Auswide Bank, believes the company’s recent partnership with Queensland Rugby League (QRL) has attributed to the company’s growth across its mortgage portfolio.
Auswide became the Major Sponsor of the QRL this year and Auswide CEO, Martin Barret, attributed part of the improvement in their recent performance to greater brand awareness, particularly off the back of their Maroons partnership.
“Our brand awareness is improving following the Queensland Maroons partnership, which is receiving positive feedback from our customers, brokers and local communities,” Barret said.
Auswide’s home lending growth was driven by a $200 million increase (13 per cent) in its owner-occupied book, while its investment portfolio rose by $122 million (16 per cent).
QRL Chief Operating Officer, Rohan Sawyer, says solution based sponsorship’s do deliver tangible returns.
“We take great pride in our ‘solutions approach’ to partnerships, aligning both fans and our partners to deliver ROI on their strategic investments.
Auswides logo will be visible on the Maroons jersey during the State of Origin when they take on NSW in Perth this Sunday.
