Priceline Pharmacy has confirmed its commitment to Netball South Australia (SA) and the Adelaide Thunderbirds with a new two-year partnership.

The extension to the current deal will see the health and beauty retailer’s commitment to grass-roots netball in SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds at the elite level equal six years, finishing up in 2020.

Mr Richard Vincent, Managing Director and CEO of API, Priceline Pharmacy’s parent company said it is a very exciting time for netball in South Australia and the brand looked forward to further integrating as part of the netball family through their partnership.

“Our partnership with Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds is significant and one we have enjoyed great success with since our first signing in 2013,” Mr Vincent said.

“We are proud of the incredibly successful relationship we have with Netball SA and are looking forward to elevating our commitment and contribution to align our brands further.

“This ranges from grassroots levels with registered netball participants, bringing Priceline to life to the more than 450,000+ people who pass through Priceline Stadium annually.”

Newly appointed Netball SA, CEO, Ms Bronwyn Klei said that the brand has a long-standing and strong relationship with Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds.

“This re-signing is a commitment to support and grow the development of the number one sport of choice for women, and for the more than 100,000 diverse participants, umpires, coaches, volunteers, and families,” Klei said.

“The partnership means that we can continue to significantly invest and develop netball in South Australia.”

The Adelaide Thunderbirds’ 2019 Suncorp Super Netball season will continue this weekend with the Round 5 clash against the Queensland Firebirds at Priceline Stadium on Sunday 26th May 2019.
