PGA of Australia Confirms the Return of Dabble Million-Dollar Hole-in-One

The PGA of Australia has confirmed the return of the Dabble Million-Dollar Hole-in-One for the 2025 BMW Australian PGA Championship, to be held at Royal Queensland Golf Club from 27–30 November 2025.

Following the success of last year’s activation, Dabble, Australia’s self-described “most social betting platform” will again sponsor the fan-favourite competition on the par-3 17th hole, known as the Dabble Party Hole.

The initiative offers one of the most distinctive prize concepts in Australian sport: if a professional golfer hits a hole-in-one during Saturday’s round, spectators on-site will share a $1 million prize pool.

PGA of Australia chief commercial officer, Michael McDonald, said the returning partnership reinforces the growing entertainment value of the event.

“The Dabble Million-Dollar Hole-in-One created so much excitement last year, and with fans sharing in the prize, the 17th hole is going to be an absolute cauldron of energy.”

“On day three, our spectators won’t just be cheering for their favourite players they’ll be cheering for themselves,” McDonald said.

The Dabble Party Hole has evolved into a defining feature of the tournament, blending live music, a stadium-style setup for 8,000 fans, and a festival-like atmosphere designed to attract younger and more socially engaged audiences.

For Dabble, the activation reflects an ongoing push to position betting within shared sporting experiences rather than traditional wagering formats.

Dabble’s chief marketing officer, Emilie Jirsch, added: “There’s nothing more exciting than the chance for everyone at Royal Queensland on day three to share in a million-dollar moment.”

“We saw how close the pros came last year, and we’re ready for someone to nail that ace in 2025,” Jirsch said.

Professionals making an ace on the 17th between 11am and 4pm (AEST) will trigger the prize, which spectators can access by registering via an event QR code.

The BMW Australian PGA Championship, co-sanctioned by the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia and the DP World Tour, will feature top international players including Adam Scott, Cam Smith, Min Woo Lee, Joaquin Niemann, and Ryan Fox.

The event is supported by Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane Economic Development Agency, underscoring its value as a major sporting and tourism draw for the state.
