The Newcastle Jets have announced a partnership with Alpha Elite Gear, designating the Australian firm as the club’s official supplier of football training accessories and equipment for the 2026 season.

The partnership, ensures that both the A-League Men’s and Women’s squads will be supported by world-class infrastructure during their daily training operations at the Speers Point high-performance hub.

Commenting on the partnership, Newcastle Jets general manager of football operations, Nigel Boogaard, who returned to the club in an executive capacity last August, said: “We are proud to partner with Alpha Elite Gear, whose support in providing elite equipment across our Men’s and Women’s programs enables our players to train at the highest level every day and strengthens our environment.”

Noting the strategic value of the alignment, director of Alpha Group, Robert Bonanno, added: “Working with top-tier teams like the Jets is a huge honour. It’s a testament to our products and shows clubs are serious about their training environment.”

Under the terms of the deal, Alpha Elite Gear, renowned for producing Australia’s most popular customised small-sided goals, will provide a comprehensive suite of equipment, including elite-level training accessories and tactical aids.

The partnership is a key component of the organisation’s broader “new era” strategy under the ownership of Maverick Sports Partners, focusing on professionalising the club’s environment to compete at the top of the A-Leagues ladder.

The collaboration represents a significant commercial honour for the Alpha Group, which has expanded its footprint across several top-tier Australian clubs.

The announcement arrives as Jets CEO, Tain Drinkwater, continues to oversee a major commercial refresh of the club, following the recent high-profile signing of English midfielder Zach Clough.
