Mariners Introduce New Game Day Initiative With Steadfast Insurance Partnership

A new partnership between Steadfast Insurance and the Central Coast Mariners will see the A-League club’s academy recieve new support, whilst a new game-day initiative is introduced.

Under the partnership, Junior Mariners Members will get the opportunity to become player mascots for a home Hyundai A-League match, walking out with the players and receiving a Steadfast shirt to keep following the occasion.

Central Coast Mariners CEO, Shaun Mielekamp, said the partnership was a great venture for the club and praised Steadfast for investing in the youth of the Central Coast.

“We are very pleased to welcome Steadfast to the Mariners family, and we are all looking forward to the opportunities this will create,” Mielekamp said.

“Steadfast’s support of our Academy and SAP teams will be a big boost for some of our young footballers on their journey, and it is great to see a company like Steadfast doing their bit at this level.

“Giving our Junior Members a chance to be a gameday mascot is an enthusing proposition for some of our youngest fans and I look forward to seeing them at Central Coast Stadium.

The Steadfast brand will feature on the back of CCM Academy Boy’s shirts, the sleeve of all Women’s and Girls teams and on the sleeve of our SAP teams as well.

Steadfast Managing Director and CEO, Robert Kelly, said: “We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Central Coast Mariners and to promote the Steadfast brand to a new audience.

“As the largest general insurance broker network in Australasia, we are committed to doing the right thing and strive to make a positive impact in our communities.

“We saw this as a great opportunity to throw our support behind the club and in particular, the Central Coast Mariners Academy, which is crucial in helping develop and procure talent in the Central Coast region by providing opportunities for both young female and male footballers.

“We wish the teams every success for the season ahead,” he said.

The Mariners will play the Newcastle Jets at Central Coast Stadium this Saturday 19th October.
