Manchester United Signs Partnership with Tech Company Qualcomm

Premier League club, Manchester United, will utilise Qualcomm product, Snapdragon, in a multi-year collaboration, which is set to provide sports fans with unique experiences around the world.

Leveraging Qualcomm’s expertise, the deal will provide Manchester United with improvements to its mobile connectivity at their home ground, Old Trafford.

Commenting on the deal, Manchester United chief executive of alliances and partnership, Victoria Timpson, said: “Snapdragon platforms will enable groundbreaking experiences for fans across the globe, deepening their engagement with the football club they love.”

“Manchester United has always pushed boundaries of what’s possible and we are excited to be partnering with a company at the forefront of innovation,” said Timpson.

Qualcomm SVP and CMO, Don McGuire, added: “We are proud to bring the power of Snapdragon together with one of the most iconic names in world sport.”

“We look forward to showcasing Snapdragon to Manchester United fans everywhere and joining the new era of technology innovation at Old Trafford,” said McGuire.

The deal follows the recent broadcast deal between Sport 24 and the Premier League.
