Sport 24 Launches Premier League Broadcast Deal

In flight and sea entertainment provider, Sport 24, has renewed its broadcast partnership with the Premier League until the 2024/2025 season.

Starting on 5 August, the new deal will showcase Crystal Palace v Arsenal, and will broadcast five live Premier League matches a week, with 35 on Sport 24’s extra service as weekly previews, reviews, and features.

Offering its services on international long haul flights, Sport 24, launched in 2012 and is owned and produced by IMG, who last struck a deal with the Premier League in 2018.

IMG SVP content and channels, , Richard Wise, said: “The Premier League continues to be the most watched football league in the world and is hugely popular with our audience.”

We look forward to continuing our long standing relationship with the Premier League for a further three seasons and bringing world class football to passengers worldwide,” Wise said.

Premier League chief media officer, Paul Molnar added: “We are very pleased that Sport 24 considers the Premier League to be such an important part of its programming mix and we look forward to working together to bring the excitement of the Premier League to this important audience.”

The extension of the partnership builds on Sport 24’s extensive portfolio, featuring codes such as Wimbledon, Golf majors, NBA, AFL, NRL, UEFA Champions League and many others.

The announcement comes as Manchester City partners with Cybersecurity company, Acronis.
