INEOS Joins 2021 Rugby World Cup

Multinational chemicals company, INEOS, has been announced as an official partner of the 2021 Women’s Rugby World Cup, adding to their portfolio which includes New Zealand’s rugby sevens teams.

The company will work with the tournament, like it has done with several other organisations, to unlock its true potential to and make it the best edition held.

Commenting on the partnership, INEOS director of communications and corporate affairs, Tom Crotty, said: “INEOS is proud to support the Rugby World Cup as it brings together the best athletes on the world stage.”

“New Zealand’s rugby culture is unique, and this tournament will showcase excellence in women’s rugby in front of some of the most passionate fans in the world, and at the same time no doubt help inspire many people across the world to take up the sport.

“INEOS are very pleased to be partners in this celebration of elite sport,” he said.

2021 Rugby World Cup tournament director, Michelle Hooper, added: “We know INEOS are passionate supporters of sport and have already built a great relationship with our Teams in Black.”

“We’re delighted to have INEOS join the Rugby World Cup 2021 family and know their focus on supporting the best high-performance sports globally, will go a long way to helping us supercharge the women’s game,” she said.

The announcement comes after the tournament announced Chemist Warehouse as an official sponsor.

Tickets are now available for the fourth annual Women In Sport Summit, which will provide real stories, skills and career moves, from administrators to athletes, and will give a platform for honest conversations and exclusive networking opportunities, with game-changing discussions about the growth, value and the future of women in sport.
