Crown Resorts Secure Sleeve Sponsorship For The Next Four Seasons

Crown Resorts will once again feature on the South Sydney Rabbitohs playing strip in 2020, after signing an extension to secure the sleeve position for at least the next four seasons.

The Crown Resorts logo will appear on the sleeves of both the Rabbitohs’ home and away jerseys and will also engage with the Rabbitohs and Souths Cares in helping to facilitate Indigenous Employment Programs, complementing the work that Crown Resorts already performs.

The partnership will see Crown, Souths Cares and South Sydney Rabbitohs come together to create new pathways for youth and their families to provide employment from school, as well as exploring a new initiative for South Sydney Rabbitohs players who are over 18 years of age and require retraining off the football field.

This will stand in addition to Crown’s standalone program which provides pathways for employment for Indigenous candidates.

Blake Solly, CEO, South Sydney Rabbitohs, said: “We welcome Crown as a partner that shares the same values as the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

“Crown and the Rabbitohs are both committed to supporting Rugby League at a junior level as well as Indigenous employment opportunities, and this partnership will help both organisations make a meaningful impact.”

Peter Crinis, Chief Operating Officer, Crown Sydney, added: “A stronger relationship between our two organisations makes sense.

“We already have a well-established Indigenous Employment Program.

“In partnering with the Rabbitohs we can make a meaningful impact and help improve employment pathways for Indigenous communities.”
