Carlton Secure Five-Year Renewal With IKON And $15 Million In Federal Funding

Carlton Football Club has extended its proud partnership with IKON Services Australia for a further five years.

The long-term agreement coincides with the $15 million in federal funding announced on Sunday that will go towards cementing Ikon Park as the home of women’s football.

Since 2015, Ikon has been the naming rights partner of the spiritual home of the Blues and today’s announcement will extend that partnership to a total of 10 years.

In addition to being the Club’s Official Venue partner, Ikon is a proud AFLW Foundation partner and Carlton in Business member.

Carlton CEO, Cain Liddle, said Carlton was delighted to extend its partnership with Ikon for a further five years.

“Ikon is a core part of the Carlton family and this announcement ensures their connection to our Club extends to a decade-long affiliation,” Liddle said.

“George and his team at Ikon are passionate about what they do and their support of our football club is valued and appreciated by us all.

“To have their name adorned on our spiritual home is a perfect fit and one we are proud to see continue.”

Ikon Managing Director, George Tahan, said the company was proud to continue its association with the Club.

“Everyone at Ikon is thrilled to continue our long-standing relationship with Carlton Football Club and the iconic home of the Blues,” Tahan said.

“As our organisation continues to grow across Australia, our alliance with Carlton has helped open some fantastic business opportunities.”

“Sunday’s federal funding announcement further heightens the excitement we feel about the future of both Carlton and Ikon Park.”
