Adelaide United Announce Ebury as Official Fintech and Shorts Partner

Adelaide United has announced a multi-year partnership with global financial services firm Ebury, naming the company as the club’s Official Fintech and Front of Shorts Partner.

The agreement, which runs through to the end of the 2026-27 season, marks a significant expansion of Ebury’s sports sponsorship portfolio within the Asia-Pacific region.

Commenting on the partnership, Adelaide United head of commercial, John Dagas, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Ebury to the Adelaide United family.”

“Importantly, Ebury’s capabilities in international payments and FX risk management will also support the Club’s operations off the pitch, delivering real value as we continue to strengthen and evolve our commercial and football programs,” Dagas said.

Emphasising the success of their global sports model, managing director (APAC) at Ebury, Rick Roache, added: “Ebury Sports partnerships across the globe have been a great success and we are excited to extend that success here in Australia.”

“At Ebury, we are proud to deliver tailored financial solutions that power Adelaide United’s international payment infrastructure,” Roache said.

The Ebury brand made its debut on the playing shorts of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s side during last weekend’s high-profile “Original Rivalry” fixture.

Beyond the visual branding, the partnership is designed to modernise the club’s back-end financial operations. Adelaide United will integrate Ebury’s global platform to power its international payment infrastructure and manage foreign exchange (FX) risk, a critical component as the club continues to engage in the global transfer market and international commercial programs.

For Ebury, the partnership serves as a launchpad for its growth ambitions across Southern Australia.

The firm, which specialises in cross-border payments and growth lending, has established a significant global sports footprint, and this collaboration represents its latest move to capture market share in the Australian professional sports ecosystem.
