Adelaide 36ers To Deliver NBL First Through New Partnership With Prancing Pony

The Adelaide 36ers have partnered with South Australian independent brewery, Prancing Pony, to deliver an NBL first during the clubs inaugural home game at the AEC next month.

The new partnership will deliver a unique on-court bar experience, giving floor seat holders access to a mix and mingle bar right behind the baseline.

The Prancing Pony Brewery Deck will exude the rustic charm Prancing Pony is renowned for, with the deck set to mirror the Adelaide Hill’s based brewery’s eclectic and inviting atmosphere.

Prancing Pony Brewery CEO and CO-Founder, Corinna Steeb, said the decision to partner with the 36ers was based on shared core values.

‘To us, it was a natural partnership. Like the Adelaide 36ers, we are proudly South Australian, and we love to support family and community-based activities at our brewery,” she said.

Patrons will have access to an exciting range of Prancing Pony crafty beers on offer on the Deck and Star Room, as well as a grazing menu, which will match the beers.

Adelaide 36ers Commercial Manager, Matt Hanton, agreed the partnership was the perfect fit.

“It’s fantastic to partner with another proud South Australia brand that is committed to quality and the community like we are.

“Prancing Pony Brewery products are world-class, just like our players and we look forward to building a great partnership,” he said.

Hanton revealed the 36ers drew inspiration from the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, who installed a courtside bar in 2017 to rave reviews.

“Our move to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre was a fantastic chance to rethink what we do and to bring a new and fresh offering to the 36ers Family.

“The Prancing Pony Deck offers a truly unique experience that you won’t find at any other Australian sporting event.

The Pony Deck will officially open for the Sixers’ inaugural game at the AEC on Saturday, 19 October.
