WSL Continues Dometic Outdoor Partnership

The World Surf League (WSL) has announced Dometic Outdoor will continue as their official camping gear partner through the Australian leg of the 2022 Championship Tour (CT) and Challenger Series (CS).

Dometic products will be on show during two Championship Tour and two Challenger Series events scheduled to start through April and May.

WSL APAC general manager, Andrew Stark, said: “WSL is excited to continue our partnership with Dometic into the upcoming Aussie leg of CS and CT events.

“Surfers are always looking for new waves and places to surf and Dometic is a brand that can bring that sense of adventure to life.

“The partnership has such great synergy and we look forward to sharing Dometic’s story to our fans once again in 2022,” Stark said.

The WSL will also create branded content for Dometic, including the continuation of their ‘Out the Back with Dometic’ series which showcases behind-the-scenes content with the lineup during a heat.

The WSL will also produce a  media and advertising plan on top of the branded content throughout the four major events.

Discussing the partnership extension, Dometic managing director ANZ, Trent Rowe, said the organisation is excited to continue its support of the Australian events for another year.

“Partnering with the WSL is a natural fit for Dometic because the surfing lifestyle is all about being outdoors,”  Rowe said.

With the partnership extension, Australian surfers including Olympic bronze medallist, Owen Wright, along with Chris ‘Chippa’ Wilson, Sheldon Simkus, and Macy Callaghan, will be Dometic brand ambassadors for the entire 2022 WSL season.
