UFC extends partnership with combat sports gear company Venum

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has prolonged its partnership with Venum, announcing a multi-year extension that will see the French brand continue as the exclusive global outfitting partner.

The latest contract, negotiated by IMG, UFC’s licensing agent, is set to run through to 2029.

Since the initial partnership was struck between UFC and Venum in 2020, followed by a three-year extension in 2022, Venum has been instrumental in providing high-quality gear for UFC athletes. Taking over from Reebok, Venum stepped into the role of the promotion’s exclusive uniform provider – allowing UFC to establish a unique visual identity that set it apart from other mixed martial arts (MMA) organisations.

One of the key aspects of this renewed partnership is the continued development of the ‘Fight Week Gear’ used by UFC athletes. Additionally, Venum will produce an exclusive ‘Fight Night Collection’, catering not only to professional fighters but also to everyday martial arts enthusiasts who seek quality gear for their training needs.

“Venum has been an amazing partner these past few years and we are thrilled to continue our relationship with them through the end of the decade,” said Tracey Bleczinski, senior vice president of UFC global consumer products.

“The key to the success of this partnership is that Venum understands the unique needs of the fighters competing in the Octagon, as well as those of everyday martial arts enthusiasts who train to stay fit.

“Franck Dupuis [Venum founder and chief executive] and his team at Venum continue to deliver excellent fight gear and training apparel for our athletes and fans.”
