UFC Enlists ICON Meals As Official Meal Delivery Partner

The UFC has announced a major partnership with ICON Meals, with the company to become the official meal delivery partner of UFC.

The deal will see ICON Meals collaborate with the UFC on new nutritional support services for UFC athletes during fight camps and fight week preparation stages, with the UFC also revealing they will purchase an equity stake in the company.

ICON Meals CEO, Todd Abrams, said: “ICON Meals is extremely proud to be named the official meal delivery service of UFC.”

“Our meals, hand crafted by chefs, are aligned with the goals of UFC’s nutrition program.

“We’re honored to contribute to the health and performance of the UFC athletes,” Abrams said.

UFC chief operating officer, Lawrence Epstein, said the UFC Performance Institute will work with ICON Meals to create custom, ready-made meal plans for athletes, with ICON Meals also to be the presenting partner of UFC Fight Night Weigh-Ins for US events.

“The health and safety of UFC athletes is an ongoing priority for us and a primary reason why we have made this investment in ICON Meals,” Epstein said.

“This partnership with ICON Meals is the next evolution of a nutrition program that has safely and successfully supported hundreds of athletes since 2018.

“We are looking forward to collaborating with ICON on developing the program and continuing its success for years to come,” he said.

As part of the partnership, there was also an annual brand ambassador fund established with offers of significant paid marketing opportunities for participating UFC athletes, with the financial details not disclosed.
