F1 ACADEMY has entered into a multi-year partnership with TeamViewer, a prominent player in the realm of remote connectivity and digital workplace solutions.
The partnership underscores a shared commitment between F1 ACADEMY and TeamViewer to advance gender equality, where TeamViewer will be actively involved in all seven rounds of the series, fostering dialogue around the importance of inclusivity in the sport.
Their engagement will include participation in various Female Quotient events throughout the season, aiming to stimulate meaningful off-track discussions that drive collective efforts for change within motorsports.
Commenting on the partnership, F1 ACADEMY managing director, Susie Wolff, said: ““Our mission is to break down barriers, on and off the track, and we’re proud to welcome TeamViewer as an Official Partner to support this. TeamViewer’s initiatives to foster inclusivity in sports, particularly within sports technology, align with our vision.”
“Together, we aim to be a powerful influence behind expanding opportunities for women in motorsport, fostering innovation on and off the track,” she said.
TeamViewer CEO, Oliver Steil, added: “The opportunity to overcome barriers and co-innovate with F1 ACADEMY will only grow as the series continues to gain traction and followers around the world.”
“With initiatives like F1 ACADEMY DISCOVER YOUR DRIVE, we are proud to partake in the journey to make motorsport more diverse, inclusive, and accessible,” Steil said.
In addition to driving conversations, TeamViewer will provide unique opportunities for its clients, partners, and the wider community to experience F1 ACADEMY races live.
This initiative aims to elevate awareness regarding the various roles available in motorsports for women and girls, promoting pathways into the industry as drivers, engineers, and more.
To commemorate this partnership, TeamViewer will support a Wild Card entry for Round 5 in Zandvoort, showcasing a special edition TeamViewer livery and race suit.
This is a notable first, as TeamViewer becomes the inaugural partner from the technology sector to align with F1 ACADEMY.
