Sydney FC Announces Partnership Extension With Billbergia

Sydney FC, one of Australia’s most iconic football clubs, has renewed its partnership with the Australian property group, Billbergia, for another year.

The partnership extension will continue to see the Billbergia logo feature prominently on the sleeve of the Sky Blues’ A-League Women’s jersey as well as the back of shorts on all Sydney FC Youth Academy playing kit.

As part of the partnership, Billbergia will host an event for young people at its brand new multi-million dollar Indoor Sports Centre in Camellia.

The event will feature Sydney FC’s fan engagement teams, who will interact with young fans and provide them with a fun and engaging experience.

Commenting on the partnership, Sydney FC CEO, Adam Santo, said: “Billbergia have been an excellent addition to our group of corporate partners, and we are looking forward to another great year with them on board.”

“Their key values of creating vibrant and resilient communities align with Sydney FC’s own vision and we are keen to continue helping each other realize these passions. It’s a successful relationship for the long-term,” he said.

Billbergia owner and managing director, John Kinsella AM, added: “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Sydney FC Women & Youth Academy for 2023 in our shared mission to build community football by creating more opportunities for women and children to participate.”

“We believe we can make a difference by investing in and supporting players across multiple sports, and across all ages and abilities,” he said.

In addition to the event, Billbergia will also be the presenting partner of Sydney FC’s Women in Football event, which is set to take place ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The event is aimed at promoting women’s football and empowering women in sport and will bring together some of the most influential women in the sport and provide a platform to discuss the issues facing women in football.
