Australia’s largest corporate bookmaker, Sportsbet, has extended and expanded its partnership with the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) for next season.

As the Official Wagering Partner of the league and with over 1.2 million customers, Sportsbet odds will be integrated into the NBL fixture and ladder on the NBL website and NBL app.

In a new initiative, Sportsbet will align with the new post-game TV show Live @ Hungry Jack’s Presented by Sportsbet on ESPN, which will provide viewers with a unique insight into the NBL.

NBL Owner and Executive Chairman, Larry Kestelman, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Sportsbet back into the NBL family ahead of another exciting season.

“The NBL enjoyed record attendances and broadcast audiences last season, and with the entry of a ninth team South East Melbourne Phoenix and new stars such as LaMelo Ball and RJ Hampton joining the league, this season shapes as being even bigger and better.”

Barni Evans, Chief Executive of Sportsbet, said: “We’d like to congratulate Larry and the team for what they have achieved so far.

“With interest in the league growing, and the addition of a new team from Melbourne, it is a brilliant time to continue to support Australian basketball.”

The 2019/20 Hungry Jack’s NBL season tips-off on Thursday October 3 with the inaugural Throwdown between Melbourne United and South East Melbourne Phoenix and will be broadcast live across SBS VICELAND, SBS On Demand, ESPN and SKY Sport.
