Peter Kloczko has been announced as the UFC Senior Vice President, Head of Australia & New Zealand, elevating his role serving as Vice President from 2019.
The announcement comes after the successful UFC 312 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, which featured Du Plessis vs Strickland 2 and Zhang vs Suarez and garnered a sold out crowd of 18,253 people, generating a record revenue of $7,687,317 USD, which is converted to approximately $12.22 million AUD.
Kloczko will report to the organisation’s executive group, while continuing to drive the UFC’s success in ANZ by leading its business and brand.
Commenting on his role at the UFC, Kloczko, said: “I am honoured with this wonderful and welcomed recognition, which underscores the importance, growth and trajectory of the ANZ region to the organisation.”
“It is a privilege working with the teams both locally and abroad strengthening the rising position of UFC in the Australia and New Zealand sporting landscapes.
“I am excited for the challenge and opportunity to continue taking the UFC and TKO business to new heights.”
Additionally, Kloczko has grown the UFC’s Sydney office to eight employees, which is a testament to the work the organisation has done to grow MMA in the region.
