Optus Sport and beIN SPORTS Partner to Enhance Live Sports Viewing in Australian Venues

Optus Sport has partnered with beIN SPORTS, allowing commercial venues across Australia to stream live sports starting February 2025. Through Optus Sport Business’s streaming solution, pubs, clubs, and other venues will have access to beIN SPORTS’ premium content.

This deal expands Optus Sport’s offerings with coverage of LALIGA, Serie A, the Carabao Cup, the English Football League, ATP & WTA Tennis, and more. Three live beIN SPORTS channels will be integrated into Optus Sport’s business platform, making top-tier sports coverage more accessible to fans in public venues.

Scott Davoren, Associate Director of Optus Sport Business, said:

“We are excited to partner with beIN SPORTS and bring even more world-class sports content to our customers.”

Streamlining Live Sports for Venues

Commercial venues often struggle with fragmented sports rights across multiple providers. This partnership aims to simplify access and offer a seamless sports experience for patrons. John Armitage, Director of Distribution & Country Manager, Australia & New Zealand for beIN SPORTS, stated:

“This partnership provides a centralised solution, making it easier for venues to offer more live sport to their patrons.”

Boosting Live Sports Atmosphere

Coming off the success of UEFA EURO 2024™ and the ongoing Premier League, Optus Sport expects this deal to enhance the atmosphere at venues, drive foot traffic, and deliver unparalleled sports entertainment to Australian fans.
