Basketball Australia has strengthened its ties with program delivery company, Seven Consulting, extending its naming rights partnership with the Australian Opals until 2026.
Seven Consulting signs on as an active advocate for women’s sport, after joining Australia’s national women’s basketball team during last September’s FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, which saw the Aussies secure a bronze medal in front of record crowds.
In addition to Seven Consulting’s logo featuring on team uniforms, the partnership will unlock opportunities for players off the courts, providing training and work experience with the company’s highly credentialed team.
Commenting on the partnership, Basketball Australia CEO, Matt Scriven, said “Following the success of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, we’re delighted Seven Consulting will continue its support of our national women’s team and look forward to strengthening our relationship with Declan and his team even further over the coming years.”
Seven Consulting Founder, Declan Boylan, said: “This continues Seven Consulting’s commitment to support women’s sport which started with being a major sponsor of the CommBank Matildas since 2017.
“We see the Seven Consulting Opals as a continuation of Australian women excelling in world sport. They are an inspiration for children and the community, and we are proud to continue to play a small part in their ongoing growth and success,” he said.
