New York Islanders Announce Helmet Sponsor

National Hockey League (NHL) team, the New York Islanders, have announced Jackpocket as the official home helmet partner for the upcoming season.

Jackpocket, an online distributor of official state lottery tickets, will feature on the Islanders’ helmets at all home games, with a series of other commercial opportunities included in the agreement.

Celebrating their 50th season in the NHL, the Islanders are expanding their commercial offers for the anniversary.

Signage and television slots will be made available to Jackpocket, who also have the naming rights for the Islanders’ radio broadcast studio.

Islanders’ fans will have access to special offers on state lottery tickets through Jackpocket, including a free ticket for all fans to inaugurate the partnership.

Fans can also win Islanders’ merchandise through the Jackpocket app.

Under the deal, Jackpocket will also sponsor other events at the Islanders’ new Belmont Park Arena.

Discussing the partnership, Islanders’ co-owner, Jon Ledecky, said: “We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Jackpocket by adding them as the official sponsor of our home helmets for our historic 50th anniversary season.”

“Jackpocket is a trusted partner, and we could not be more excited for the ways that we are working together to evolve our digital and game day experiences for our loyal fans,” he said.

Jackpocket founder, Peter Sullivan, added: “The Islanders are such a true-blue (and orange!) New York institution, which makes us elated to announce our continuing partnership.”

“We’re also very proud to be the official digital lottery courier for all live events at the UBS Arena, where we look forward to providing an easy way to order lottery tickets from the convenience of a smartphone for all fans and visitors to the arena,” he concluded.

The announcement follows the Islanders’ agreement with Northwell Health to become the team’s first ever jersey sponsor, thanks to NHL rule changes.
