LB has announced up to 11,500 fans will be allowed at Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field to attend 2020 postseason games.

The MLB announced it had received state government approval to allow limited fans with health and safety protocols that are in line with state and local regulations due to COVID-19.

The news comes after recent reports the MLB would suffer a total of USD$3 billion in losses due to having no fans in games this season.

The fans will be permitted for each game across the National League Championship Series (NLCS) and World Series, with 10,550 fans throughout the general venue, and 950 in the suites.

The 10,550 tickets that will be for sale each game for admission to the seating bowl will be sold in groups of four adjacent seats, with individuals allowed to purchase only one ‘pod’ per NLCS and World Series game.

This year is set to mark the first time in the MLB’s history that a World Series will take place at a neutral venue, with the tickets for all seven games of each series set to go on sale from October 6.

The MLB confirmed no seats will be sold with 20 feet of where any players can potentially be on the field, in the dugouts, or in the bullpen, with masks also a requirement for all fans except for when they are actively eating or drinking at their ticketed seats.

The MLB also said no bags will be permitted in the venue, except for those carried for medical reasons or manufactured diaper bags.
