The nib Newcastle Knights, in partnership with Hunter Junior Rugby League, have announced a Club of the Month initiative for the upcoming 2025 NRLW season, a program dedicated to honouring grassroots clubs.

Launching in May and continuing through August, this initiative aims to highlight Hunter Junior Rugby League Clubs that are excelling in promoting the game, enhancing participation, and fostering inclusive and welcoming environments for everyone involved.

Each month, one Club will be designated as the Knights Club of the Month, receiving several rewarding benefits, including:

  • A dedicated feature article on the Knights’ official website.
  • A visit from Newcastle Knights NRLW players to engage with the community.
  • A special acknowledgement on game day, boosting visibility.
  • A signed Knights jersey to assist in their fundraising activities.

To be eligible for this recognition, clubs are encouraged to submit a brief entry that outlines their efforts in driving participation, advocating for game development, and ensuring their club is accessible to all players and supporters.

Whether focusing on promoting female participation, nurturing junior talent, or creating a club culture that values diversity, the Knights are eager to hear their inspiring stories.
