KB Sports Hub has been named the title partner for the newly established ‘Player of the Festival’ Award during the men’s Inter-Provincial T20 Festivals and the women’s Evoke Super T20 Festivals moving forward.
Valued at €175 or £150, the award will come in the form of a voucher redeemable at KB Sports Hub.
In a recent statement from their Dublin store, co-founders, Yogesh Kashyap and Arun Kumar expressed their enthusiasm about supporting these competitions.
Mr. Kumar noted: “At KB Sports Hub, cricket is not just our business; it’s our passion.”
“We are proud to partner with Cricket Ireland and to support these important domestic T20 competitions through the new ‘KB Sports Hub Player of the Festival Award.’
“The standard of competition continues to improve year-on-year, and we are delighted to be involved in recognising some of these fantastic performances,” he expressed.
The award will not only be presented at future festivals, but will also be retrospectively granted to players from T20 Festivals that have already taken place.
This initiative serves to highlight the ongoing commitment of KB Sports Hub to fostering cricket in Ireland, as well as its recognition of the increasing quality and competitiveness of domestic T20 cricket.
As the landscape of T20 cricket continues to evolve, this partnership signals a collaborative effort towards enhancing player recognition and encouraging high-performance standards within the sport. Subsequent tournaments will undoubtedly benefit from this initiative, as players are motivated to showcase their talents as players aim to be recognised for their performances.
