ICC TV is gearing up to provide an unparalleled viewing experience for cricket enthusiasts worldwide during the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. In addition to broadcasting every match live, the network will offer a comprehensive world feed service for licensees and introduce an AI-supported vertical feed, a groundbreaking feature in the realm of cricket coverage. The extensive coverage will ensure fans can catch all 55 matches over 28 action-packed days. Viewers can look forward to a pre-match show, an innings interval program, and a post-match wrap-up, beginning on 1 June as the USA and Canada clash in Dallas.

Building on the success of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, ICC TV will pioneer AI-assisted vertical 9:16 aspect-ratio coverage in collaboration with Disney Star, Quidich Innovation Labs, and NEP.

This innovative approach aims to captivate casual fans with a user-friendly mobile-optimised viewing experience. A distinguished commentary panel comprising cricketing legends will provide in-depth insights and analysis, offering viewers a comprehensive look at the action from the tournament’s nine host locations across the USA and West Indies. Esteemed broadcasters such as Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, Mel Jones, Harsha Bhogle, and Ian Bishop will headline a team of commentators for this year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The lineup will also feature former T20 World Cup participants Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Ebony Rainford-Brent, and Carlos Brathwaite, as well as past ICC event winners Ricky Ponting, Sunil Gavaskar, and Eoin Morgan, providing expert insights.

The diverse lineup of talent will look to deliver engaging commentary and enhance the viewer experience throughout the tournament. In collaboration with production partners Disney Star, NEP Broadcast Solutions, and AE Live, ICC TV will showcase innovative visual enhancements during the broadcast. From Hawk-Eye technology for off-bat tracking to Piero graphics for detailed game analysis, viewers can expect a next-level viewing experience. Additionally, Quidich Innovation Labs will introduce Field 360° for virtual field modelling, drone cameras for aerial views, and roving cams for unique perspectives.

ICC TV’s coverage will extend beyond live matches, offering non-live content such as player profiles, team features, match previews, venue spotlights, and behind-the-scenes footage to partners and fans, bringing the excitement of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup closer to audiences worldwide.
