Homestar Finance joins Thunder as new official partner

Sydney Thunder confirms Homestar Finance as the clubs new official partner for the next two seasons.

Homestar Finance has been providing affordable home loans since 2004 and their branding will be on both Sydney Thunder’s BBL and WBBL apparel.

The residential home lender will also be strongly involved with the club’s male and female Indigenous teams.

“We are looking forward to supporting the Sydney Thunder and being part of the Thunder Nation this season,” Homestar Finance COO, Ilias Pavlopoulos said.

“We are excited to be part of an energetic, fun and family-oriented version of the game of cricket.

“The Thunder Nation’s work behind the game in the local community is a big part of what we will be focusing our support on and we are taking our community support to a greater level.”

Sydney Thunder General Manager, Lee Germon, welcomed Homestar Finance to the club.

Sydney Thunder opens their BBL campaign against the Melbourne Stars on 21 December at Manuka Oval before playing their first game in Sydney on 24 December against cross-town rivals the Sydney Sixers.
