Formula 1 has announced an expansion of its award-winning streaming service with the introduction of F1 TV Premium, designed to enhance the spectating experience for motorsport enthusiasts, where this new tier invites fans to engage more deeply with the action at every race.

One of the standout features of F1 TV Premium is presenting full live coverage of every Grand Prix, Sprint, qualifying, and practice session in 4K Ultra HD/HDR, which can be coupled with the innovative multi-view feature, available on select devices, allowing fans to enjoy a multi-faceted experience whether they are at home or on the move.

Additionally, fans can access live streams of F2, F3, F1 Academy, and Porsche Supercup events, considerably broadening their viewing options.

Commenting on F1TV, Formula 1 chief media rights and broadcasting officer, Ian Holmes, said: “Since its inception, F1 TV has developed into one of the most advanced streaming platforms in sport.”

“F1 TV Premium enhances the viewing experience, empowering fans to create their personalised platform that immerses them in every incident and wheel-to-wheel showdown across all 24 races.

“This new service highlights our commitment to improving content for our fans, delivering an experience that reflects their passion.

“Initially, F1 TV Premium will be accessible through the Chrome web browser, as well as on Apple iOS, Apple TV, and Roku platforms,” Holmes said.

Premium subscribers are permitted to stream content on up to six devices simultaneously, and the new Multiview functionality, which is set to debut for customers using Apple iOS, the Chrome web browser, and TVOS-compatible devices, enables fans to watch a variety of broadcast elements, including live feeds, onboard cameras, and live timing pages, all displayed concurrently on a single screen.

F1 TV has transformed the viewing landscape for Formula 1 fans, evolving from its previous offerings of F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Access.

The F1 TV Pro subscription provides an ad-free experience with live broadcasts of every session, featuring unique visuals such as driver-on-board shots and team radios, alongside exclusive behind-the-scenes content, while F1 TV Access offers a more basic service, granting fans access to live race timing data and full race replays.

In 2025, this high-calibre broadcast will again feature the F1 TV team, with Laura Winter hosting alongside six-time IndyCar champion James Hinchcliffe and F1 Correspondent Lawrence Barretto, who will be complemented by commentator Alex Jacques and former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer, alongside other notable figures, including Ruth Buscombe Divey, Davide Valsecchi, Alex Brundle, and Sam Collins.
