The Eagles Autism Foundation has launched an initiative in partnership with Nouryon, a global leader in specialty chemicals, to support the 2025 Eagles Autism Challenge.
In celebration of Autism Acceptance Month and the airing of the Eagles Autism Foundation Special on NBC, Nouryon has committed a USD$250,000 matching gift to support autism research and care programs.
Every online donation made through a personal fundraising account from April 17 until May 15 will be matched dollar-for-dollar or until the funding cap is reached.
There’s no limit on how much an individual can donate, making it easier for contributors to double their impact with every gift.
Ryan Hammond, executive director of the Eagles Autism Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Nouryon for their continued support.
“With less than a month before the 2025 Eagles Autism Challenge, this matching initiative comes at the perfect time to help participants reach or exceed their goals,” Hammond said.
Beyond the donation match, Nouryon is also working to create more inclusive spaces for neurodiverse individuals.
The company has partnered with the Eagles Autism Foundation and Popcorn for the People to promote inclusive employment opportunities.
Nouryon supports the EAF All Abilities Clinics, which provide accessible, fun, and inclusive recreational activities for individuals with special needs.
Charlie Shaver, chairman and CEO of Nouryon, emphasised the company’s commitment to supporting the neurodiverse community through its investment in the Eagles Autism Foundation and Eagles Autism Challenge, aiming to inspire others to contribute to a more inclusive future for all.
“At Nouryon, we envision a future where every individual can reach their full potential,” Shaver said
“We hope our investment encourages other donors to do the same and helps build a brighter, more inclusive world,” he said.
The 2025 Eagles Autism Challenge, led by Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie, is a one-day event featuring a bike ride and a 5K run/walk.
All routes begin and end at Lincoln Financial Field, creating a special experience for every participant.
Cycling options include the Wawa Classic 30-Mile Ride, the Wawa Shorti 10-Mile Ride, and the Wawa Junior 10-Mile Ride for teens aged 13–17.
A virtual participation option is available for those who can’t attend in person but still want to support the cause.
