Cricket Australia Engages Kojo Sport To Deliver World-Class Match Day Experiences

After a successful five-year partnership, Cricket Australia has renewed the services of KOJO Sport to deliver the Men’s and Women’s International Cricket Sports Presentation program nationwide for the next three seasons.

Kojo was recently appointed as Stadium Creative Partner for the KFC Big Bash and Rebel Women’s Big Bash Leagues and the new deal cements the firm’s relationship with Cricket Australia.

Antonia Beggs, Head of Match Operations and Events, Cricket Australia said: “KOJO share our passion for the game, so choosing them to deliver our International Cricket Sports Presentation was an easy choice.

“We want fans to have an incredible experience when they come to the cricket, and we know KOJO can drive excitement at the game.

“Working alongside other key agencies in the Match Day Experience program, KOJO will be an integral partner in delivering a world-class experience to our fans,” Ms Beggs said.

KOJO will use creative designed for innovative LED platforms (big screen, sightscreen, pitch level, parapet and IPTV), lighting and in-stadia audio programs to add value to the fan experience.

This will include timely match information, match replays and highlights, statistical insights, entertainment and performances, MC’s, activations and crowd engagement segments.

Stephen Lord, KOJO’s CEO, said his team were determined to celebrate Australia’s passion for cricket by delivering fans an exceptional matchday experience that is relevant to the format and the audience attending.

“Our aim is to build upon the event presentation foundations Cricket Australia has created to produce one of the world’s great sporting experiences.”

“We want to enhance the approach and delivery of fan experiences and help Cricket Australia attract new audiences to the game,” Mr Lord said.

“The scope of the engagement includes the delivery of all event presentation elements in stadia, for women and men’s international cricket in Australia.

“In 2019/20 this will include 47 days of cricket across 11 venues.”

Whilst keeping with the traditions of the game, KOJO will work closely with a range of Cricket Australia’s key stakeholders to deliver value to fans during matches.

“We are looking to lift the expectation of the fan experience. We want to capture the hearts of all attending cricket fans across both women’s and men’s leagues, whether it’s for an international test, one-day, or T20, and build that excitement that keeps them coming back for more,” added Mr Lord.
