Collingwood and KFC Formalise Landmark Five-Year Partnership Extension

Collingwood Football Club and KFC Australia have announced a five-year extension of their premier partnership, ensuring the “Colonel’s” iconic branding remains a fixture of the Magpies through the end of the 2030 season. The deal continues KFC’s role as a Premier Partner across both the AFL and AFLW programs.

Since the partnership’s inception in 2021, the collaboration has coincided with one of the most successful eras in the club’s modern history, including the 2023 AFL Premiership.

Under the renewed terms, the KFC logo will maintain its prominent position on the back of the AFL match guernseys and continue to anchor major fan engagement initiatives at the MCG and Victoria Park.

Commenting on the partnership, Collingwood CEO, Craig Kelly, said: “We are incredibly fortunate to have long-term and loyal partners at Collingwood and we are pleased to have KFC further extend their commitment to us.”

“Since KFC first partnered with us… we have continued to go from strength to strength across all areas of our Club,” Kelly said.

Strategic Continuity and Community Impact

The extension provides Collingwood with long-term commercial certainty as the club enters a “new chapter” under senior coach Craig McRae and captain Darcy Moore.

The partnership extends beyond the elite men’s team, with KFC remaining a core supporter of the AFLW program and the club’s grassroots community initiatives.

KFC will continue as a central figure in the “Magpie Army” match-day experience, featuring high-visibility branding and digital integrations across the club’s social media channels.

A “Massive Chapter” for the Magpies

The announcement comes as Collingwood prepares for a historic 2026 season. Club legend Scott Pendlebury is on the cusp of breaking the all-time V/AFL games record (432), a milestone expected to be reached in the early rounds of the year.
