Basketball Australia scores Berocca and New Era in latest partnership deals

Basketball Australia scores two new partnerships that see Helloworld replaced by Berocca as Major Partner and New Era named as official headwear supplier for every national team.

The two-year partnership with Berocca, commencing in November 2018, will assist the Boomers on their Road to China where the 2019 FIBA World Cup will be held as well as looking ahead to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Fern Castellanos, Senior Brand Manager Berocca, said: “We are thrilled to see Berocca become a Major Partner of the Australian Boomers and help support their mental sharpness and physical energy.

“We look forward to supporting their journey to the podium for the FIBA World Cup and Tokyo Olympics.”

The New Era headwear partnership will include beanies, caps and snapbacks provided to the Australian Boomers, Chemist Warehouse Australian Opals, Australian Rollers and Australian Gliders as well as all national junior teams.

The headwear range will also be available for Australian basketball fans to purchase.

“As the official headwear provider of the NBA, basketball is a key global sport for the brand,” said New Era Cap GM Australia and New Zealand, Simon Hibbs.

“Aligning with Basketball Australia is a great move for New Era, enabling us to support the sport in this country and share the great caps we make with local basketball fans.”

Head of Commercial Partnerships Basketball Australia, Glen Towers said: “We are delighted to welcome New Era to Basketball Australia’s commercial partners’ program.”

Speaking about the Berroca deal, Towers Said: “This is an exciting partnership for Basketball Australia that will enable the Boomers to stay energised on the court.”
