This independent entity, led by CEO Nikki Doucet, represents a significant step towards accelerating the growth of women’s football in England. Supported by a £20 million Premier League loan and knowledge-sharing efforts, WPLL aims to prioritize player welfare, fan engagement, and long-term sustainability, reinforcing the sport’s competitive and commercial potential.
