Barcelona Extends Regional Partnership

FC Barcelona has announced the extension of their partnership with lubricant company, SK Enmove, which will run through to the 2023/24 season.

The new deal will see SK Enmove become the club’s official engine oil or official lubricant in the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain, and will remain as an official partner in countries including South Korea, China, Vietnam and Thailand.

After launching in Asia, the pair also expanded into Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

In the original partnership, activations were created through co-branded products, which featured first team athletes, as well as boosted brand awareness through club related collaborative content and localised initiatives.

Additionally, SK leveraged Barcelona’s following on social media by publishing content in local languages on Facebook, WeChat, Weibo, as the pair aimed to stay relevant to fans.

The announcement comes after Barcelona Femeni signed a three-year deal with courier, GLS.
