FC Barcelona’s women’s team, Barcelona Femeni, has announced a three-year deal with Spanish courier, GLS Spain, who will become the official logistics partner and a global sponsor of the club.
The deal will run until June 2025 and aims to contribute to the growth of Barcelona Femeni’s brand recognition, both locally and abroad.
The pair also launched the partnership at the Johan Cruyff Stadium, where FC Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, Barcelona manager for women’s football, Xavier Puig, GLS Iberia general manager, Luis Doncel, and GLS finance director, Roberto Martinez attended
Discussing the partnership, Doncel, said: “We share FC Barcelona’s support and strong links to women’s sport.”
“In essence, its team of players is an example of dedication, the desire to excel and teamwork, values that also represent us as a company,” he said.
Additionally, the partnership builds on GLS’ growing sponsorship portfolio, which includes World Padel Tour, where the company’s aim is to advance the prominence of the women’s sport.
