ASICS Renews Partnership With AOC

Sport performance brand, ASICS, will remain as the official performance footwear and apparel partner of the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) after renewing their partnership until 2026.

The deal will see ASICS provide Australia’s elite athletes with performance kits for the 2023 Pacific Games, 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and the 2026 Youth Olympics Games.

Additionally, ASICS will supply the Australian Olympic Team with an innovative and sustainable selection of products across sports competition and training apparel, leisure wear and footwear.

Commenting on the partnership extension, AOC CEO, Matt Carroll, said: “We are thrilled to have ASICS renew the partnership with the Australian Olympic Team for the next four years, confirming a great partnership in sport.”

“Our 487-strong Team in Tokyo proudly represented Australia in world-class ASICS uniforms, inspiring the nation with incredible performances and spirit.

“I look forward to Australians cheering on our athletes performing in ASICS over the next four years.

“It’s crucial for the athletes to feel supported by innovative design when representing our country at the highest level, so ASICS footwear and apparel is the right choice for the Team.

“It has been a pleasure working with ASICS in a process that involves extensive consultation with the athletes and their sports on their needs and preferences.

“Also, we are excited about the significant incorporation of Indigenous designs across competition and Village wear for our athletes in Paris and the other Games,” he said.

AOP managing director, Mark Brunton, added: “ASICS is a proud partner of the Australian Olympic Team and we are excited to be extending our partnership through to 2026.”

“It’s our mission to ensure that we provide the Australian Athletes with unparalleled technology and superior comfort in their Olympic uniforms, allowing them to compete at their best on the world’s biggest stage,” he said.

The announcement comes after AOC marketing manager, Will Jago, explained the organisation’s approach to digital engagement during the ongoing Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
