AFL extends partnership with Accor until 2027

The Australian Football League has solidified its bond with global hospitality giant Accor through a multi-year sponsorship extension. Under this renewed collaboration, Accor maintains its status as the official accommodation partner of both the AFL and AFLW, extending the partnership until the conclusion of 2027.

Accor’s commitment goes beyond the title, as the hospitality group will continue to provide accommodation solutions for AFL clubs, officials and umpires during the demanding men’s and women’s seasons, ensuring comfort and convenience on the road.

A significant aspect of this extended partnership is the integration of Accor’s lifestyle loyalty program, ALL-Accor Live Limitless, into the AFL fan experience. AFL enthusiasts will now enjoy exclusive access to accommodation discounts and incentives, creating a seamless connection between the world of football and premium lodging both domestically and internationally.

“Accor is committed to exceptional service and inspiring experiences through travel across their ecosystem of leading brands,” said Kylie Rogers, AFL Executive General Manager, Customer and Commercial.

“They provide our industry, particularly our clubs, players and umpires with the best accommodation options across the country to enable them to reach their potential on the field. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership into the future.”

Sarah Derry, CEO of Accor Pacific, echoed the sentiment, saying, “We are delighted to announce that Accor’s successful partnership with the AFL has been extended for a further four years. This is fantastic news for both Accor and the AFL, as it allows us to continue our collaboration and further strengthen our relationship. We look forward to working closely with the AFL and its passionate community, creating unforgettable experiences for fans and guests alike.”

Accor’s expansive reach extends across all states and territories, offering a diverse array of hotel options to cater to the varied demands of the AFL and its supporters.

The portfolio includes esteemed brands like Pullman, Novotel, The Sebel, Grand Mercure, and ibis hotels, strategically positioned, including locations near stadiums where AFL games unfold. This comprehensive network ensures that both the AFL and Accor continue to elevate the standards of hospitality within the realm of Australian football.
